Anti-climb Fencing
Secure-a-Field has completed the installation of a perimeter security solution for Nottinghamshire Police, at their headquarters in Mansfield.
Working for your local police force, or any public service, can be a rewarding vocation, but it can sometimes also be dangerous. To support and protect both staff and visitors of their Mansfield base, Nottinghamshire Police contacted Secure-a-Field for a quote on an updated secure perimeter system.
Following an initial consultation with their Assistant Building Surveyor, we put together a full turn-key solution package based around the Defender 358, a mesh anti-climb fencing system with small apertures which make it difficult to cut or scale. The project, which took 10 days to complete, involved the installation of 50 metres of Defender 358 mesh anti-climb fencing, fully automated vehicle access gates and a semi-automatic pedestrian gate, all of which allow Nottinghamshire Police to effectively control both vehicle and pedestrian access to the site.
Also included in their turn-key package was full underground ducting, the running and connecting of power cables, new kerbing and tarmac surface repair, line painting and full quality testing once installed. The new perimeter fencing, vehicle gates and pedestrian gate are now in full operation; we would like to thank Nottinghamshire Police for their custom and look forward to working with them again in the future.
